- Water Preservation: We strive to save up to 80% of your tank’s original water, which is crucial for maintaining beneficial bacteria and minimizing stress on your aquatic life.
- Safe Transport Containers: We utilize 5-gallon buckets for both tank water and your fish. Each bucket is carefully prepared to ensure your fish have ample air throughout the journey.
- Protecting Your Ecosystem: All coral and live plants are gently moved with water from the original tank. This helps to preserve the vital good bacteria essential for their survival and the health of your aquarium.
- Tank Preparation for Transport: To prevent cracks and future leaks, we carefully remove all remaining water and decorations from your tank before transport.
- Secure Packing of Equipment: We professionally pack all pumps, heaters, and other accessories (especially fragile appliances) to prevent damage during transit.
- Empty Tank Transport: Your aquarium will always be transported empty. This crucial step eliminates the risk of cracking the bottom of your tank and preventing costly leaks down the line.
- Filter Media Guidance:
- For short moves, we recommend placing your filter media in a sealed container to keep beneficial bacteria alive.
- For longer moves, it’s often best to either thoroughly clean or replace your filter media to ensure optimal water quality in your new setup.
